first time showing off my digtal art on here.. does anyone else feel like there's an inexplicable difference in style between their digital and traditional art? i wonder what it comes from, if i had to choose one i would say i am much more comfortable with pencil and paper but. i am guilty of trying to ctrl+z or zoom in while drawing on my notebook so;;
sketchbook entry #2 - recent-ish stuff
date: 22/4/2023
mood: wistful
music: clair de lune - claude debussy

ive had this sketchbook since 2020, and ive been sporadically drawing in it every time i get a chance. it's funny because i used to go through sketchbooks in a matter of months at some point.. but i kind of like keeping the same main sketchbook for a long time (sorry about the bad pictures, ill get a proper scanner soon i promise..)
sketchbook entry #1 - 2016
date: 20/4/2023
mood: having fun
music: slowdown - lunar vacation
currently: should be in bed tbh
this was back when i posted and shared my art online very often, i actively made an effort to make my sketchbook pages look as visually distinct and aesthetically pleasing as i can. i reveled in seeing people's reactions when they flipped through my sketchbooks, it was fun to impress them. even just a little bit. for the record my art does not look like this at all anymore.. in some ways i miss this style but ultimately im happier that right now my art has become less flashy for the sake wowing others and more subdued, and made for my own personal enjoyment
